Amazing Video

Hello Tomodachi’s,

I am so amazed by this guy’s passionate speech. He is right in everything he says but too often even with the truth staring people straight in the face people refuse to see it and want to see and hear what they want.

This is all really sad. I would say “it is really sad what this world is coming to” but the fact is this is nothing new. These kinds of things have been happening for years and decades. Black people have been talking about it for years but no one listened, no one wanted to listen and no one wanted to believe black people and immediately thought we were lying. The only difference between now and then is that it is all being caught on camera but still nothing is really being down to about it.

Even with everything being caught on camera now the police are still walking away free from committing murder; people who do not care or still do not want to believe the plights of black people will continue not to care and believe whatever they want. And black people continue to be killed, targetted or feared by the masses because the media and society, in general, views black people as something to be feared. So of course, people are angry and protest and I personally do not blame them one bit.

Check out the video and let me know your thoughts.

  1. I think the problem with people just watching close by like people did is an attitude of self-preservation in the moment. “Hey, they’re cops, and they have guns. If I try to stop them, they’ll shoot me.”

Yet at the same time I understand this, I also recall a time, long ago, when I faced off against a guy I knew had a 3rd degree black belt. He’d ripped me off for some gas at the station I worked at, and it came out of my pay. Oddly enough, I knew this guy could beat the crap out of me easily, and probably kill me. But I was too angry to care about that. I was right, and I was going to hold him accountable no matter the cost.

That’s the kind of attitude I wish more people had. Sure, there would most likely be more than a few lives lost, just as happened during the Civil Rights movement. But in the end, the problem would be remedied, and society itself would be changed for the better. it’s worth, Angie.

Just my two cents, for what it’s worth, Angie.
