I have become famous

Hey Tomodachi’s,

Good afternoon, to you all. Hope life is you well and if it is not that it, to the very least, soon improves.

Apparently, it seems like I have become a little bit famous these last few days. At least, on my small island Saba.

Do you all remember a blog I posted a couple of months ago where I talked about how interesting and educational my week was and how much I had learnt about my island after participating in a nature project? Well, for the last week the videos are finally being published and I am hosting in these videos. It was a great experience to host in these videos but I did not expect for people to come up to me to talk to me about it when they finally got posted. I was pretty surprised and amused to say the least. Never took into consideration that I may become semi-famous 🤣🤣.

If you are interested in watching the videos here are some of the videos below. If you want to continue seeing more videos as they are gradually being published then you need to follow the B-onaire TV‘s and DCNA‘s Facebook pages.

  1. Hi, Angie! Looks like a wonderful turn you’ve taken here! Great video too. It’s well made, and without the pretension we see in so many big media shows. It’s informative without getting bogged down in technical explanations or political propaganda. In other words, it’s a real “slice of life” on your island home. I like it, and even learned something, which makes it all the more enjoyable!

As for your new celebrity status, I think it’s great, especially with more people recognizing you and liking what you’re doing on the show. You suit the cameras quite well, too!

I had a similar experience many years ago. I did a guest spot on a local cable access show with my adopted brother who was helping me get my son back from the State of New York. We talked about the corruption in the child protection industry, which much later became the main theme of my first novel. Long story for another conversation.

But after the show aired, I was surprised by all the people who would come up to me and say, “I saw you on TV!” To tell the truth, I was embarrassed at first, but I got used to it after a while.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing you do more of these shows! You look like you enjoyed it too, and it’s great too like or even love what you do. It makes for a better life all around, and is much better than doing some job we hate because we have to earn that paycheck!

    • Thank you for the compliment and it was a very nice experience participating in this project but their won’t be any more until the next time until maybe next year or longer. It qas just supposed to be a short project.. There will be 3 or so more videos that need to be published but there won’t be any more after that until further notice. And glad you enjoyed the videos.
