I have completed my training!

Hello Tomodachi’s,

How are you all doing this day? I am a bit in a good mood today because I passed my massaging ‘exam’ I was supposed to take today and starting from tomorrow onwards I’ll be officially working in a massage salon as a masseuse. Now, how great is that?!

I can not remember if I mentioned in any of my previous posts about me participating in a massage training for two weeks and after these weeks we were supposed to be tested. The exam was given to determine if we, the trainees, knew the massaging techniques for the back and neck. Although we have learned to massage the entire body in those two weeks we were only tested on knowing the back.

As always when it comes to being tested, I was quite nervous which as a result caused my hands to become somewhat cold and start to slightly tremble. My nervousness might have caused me to not do as well as I would have if I was not nervous but that does not matter anymore because I’ve already passed and got the job! I really tried my best to memorise all of the techniques and the pressure points of the body in these mere two weeks of training. It was tough and the last couple of days before the exam, I was able to remember the majority of these techniques by heart. I am now content with the results of my exam because even though it was not as perfect as I wanted it to be, I tried my very best and it all paid off in the end.

I can only get better and better from here on out.

So in a sense, I am happy. “Happiness is a journey and not a destination. It’s perspective.”
