My Once Life

Hello Tomodachi’s,

It has been a little over a week since I last posted anything on my blog and I surely did miss you all. I do, after all, enjoy blogging even though it can be tedious and tiring at times.

Anyway, I came across this video and poem on YouTube that I wanted to share with you all and in my opinion, it is a very beautiful but at the same time it was a little sad. The video showed different Native American women (who come from different Indian tribes) alternately reading a poem about how their people once lived before their way of living was changed and/ or destroyed. This video was the winner of the 2016 Button Poetry Video Contest and I can understand why.

Please take a look at the video below and I hope it has touched you as much as it has touched me. Have a great day and take care!
