Hey, all. Sorry, sorry, sorry for the late post again. As always, for these past few weeks I have been quite busy with things, I barely have time for myself.
Anyway, I just wanted to briefly explain my Sunday evening and how several things were going wrong and because of a simple coincidence it changed the rest of my day for the better.
If you follow me on any one or a few of my social media, I mentioned that yesterday was supposed to be my singing practice. But in the end, I was not able to attend it because a lot of unexpected things happened which would probably frustrate anyone.
These many unexpected things include but does not limit to having my tram take so long to arrive to take me to the central station; not having any quick intracity trains available to take me to Rotterdam due to the majority of them not running and having no choice but to go with a much slower train that stops at every stop and which did not leave until about almost 30 minutes later; accidently getting on a wrong tram, waiting and switching then later missing my stop by four tram stops and turning back around to the right stop; and having trouble remembering the house number of the apartment building so spending at least 15 to 20 minutes going from door to door and ringing the doorbells to the apartments that had no name tags, lol. 😂 Also, not forgetting to mention, I had no money on my phone to make any calls nor did I have any internet on my phone to send any Whatsapp or Facebook messages. So, yes I was basically stranded in a really unfamiliar neighbourhood. 😅
Thankfully, a good friend who lived on that same street spotted me from his window and helped the miserable me out. It was also nice that he knew the singing coach and also had his contact information which was such a great help. I had no idea my friend lived there in the same street and how by chance he saw me from his window and called out to me. what a double coincidence!
He later invited me to go to an LGBT hangout which I decided on going to because I had never been to something like this before and I was quite interested in it. I have to say, it was a lot of fun playing Mario video games, eating, chatting and watching a scary movie with everyone. They are just regular people like anyone else. I made some nice new friends. I would like to go again.
