I usually do not comment on current news, trends, celebrity gossip and the like because, everyone has an opinion. People seem to take pleasure in dissecting everything you say and misconstrue your message or, complain about something you said.

Today, I cannot NOTmention anything about the current incidents that have taken place over the past 48-72 hours, specifically the killings of African American men, Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, by the authorities in the U.S. Today, I choose to share my brief thoughts about the recent events in the U.S. as an outsider looking in.

I have said this before (on Social Media) and I will say this again, we are living in some VERY worrying and hypersensitive times. If scary has not been added to the list, it can be added now! I cannot begin to imagine what the families of these victims are experiencing at this moment…
