Favourite Authors and Novels (Part 1)

Hallo iedereen! Hoe gaat het met jou? I am doing well, because I am still james_peterson6setalive, breathing, healthy and have my limbs attached. So there are no complaints from me.

Today I would like to write about one of my favourite authors and one of my favourite novels that I enjoyed reading while growing up. As a teenager I used to read a lot of books ( I used to borrow 2 to 3 novels a week from the library) although I may not have been able to remember their names now or even who wrote the books. For some reason I am horrible with remembering names and if I do it is only because I truly forced myself to remember it, lol.

However, there is one author whose books I enjoyed reading and that is James Patterson. I remember reading several of his Alex Cross series and I really enjoyed his style of writing. James Patterson is the reason why I wanted to start writing my own novel one day. It was something about his style of writing that always got to me. His stories always had me at the edge of my seat and once I picked up his novels I would not be able to put it down until I had finished reading it.

His novels engulfed me, mind and soul, and it made me feel like I was a part of his novels. I could very clearly see the imagery he was trying to paint in my mind and there was even an occasion where I cried. Although I cannot remember right now which Alex Cross novel it was that made me so emotional that I cried profusely. Well anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post and will be posting the part two of this post in the next few days. And please don’t forget to like, comment and share.
